Nicho's season over?
Mike Newell admitted today that Kevin Nicholls may not play again this season.
The injury he picked up after only eight minutes of the match against Leicester yesterday is a medial ligament injury, and the Town skipper was on crutches immediately after the match.
It has not been a good year so far for the midfielder as he had only just about regained full fitness after his last injury.
Just as Mike Newell was saying before this match that he would have a full squad to pick from soon, Robison was unable to get a much needed run out for the reserves, Kevin Nicholls lasts only 8 minutes and Paul Underwood may be missing for a few weeks with a hamstring injury, also picked up yesterday.
Stephen O'Leary scored again yesterday for Tranmere Rovers, perhaps Mike might consider recalling him, or maybe Danny Stevens might get a run out? I doubt it. We will probably see players out of position covering these injured players.
