On Wednesday afternoon, Luton Reserves beat Colchester United 4-2 with two goals from trialist Anton Robinson, and one each by Dean Morgan and Calvin Andrew. They remain unbeaten in the league and are seven points clear of Northampton at the top of the league.
Their next match is against Northampton Town.
The surprising thing about the game was that Calvin Andrew played after returning from Bristol City with an alleged injury that was to have kept him sidelined for the rest of the season.
Marvin Johnson said on www.lutontown.co.uk:
'We were pleased with the performance, the first half was scrappy and both teams looked a bit shaky but we controlled the match in the second half and looked a lot more promising.
'Overall it was a good result and we were pleased with the players' contributions.'
Luton Reserves: Brill, Asafu-Adjaye, Bevan, Holmes, Maitland, Keane, Bell, Stevens, Morgan, Andrew, Robinson.
