Luton miss out on target
It appears that Luton target, Kevin McNaughton will not be joining the Hatters, after it was reported today that he has agreed to sign for Cardiff City.
The Aberdeen defender will sign for the Bluebirds in July when his current contract at Pittodrie ends.
Mike Newell will be disappointed as he had admitted that he was a player that he would have liked to sign.
However, Luton have today been lionked with interest in Portsmouth's out of favour striker Vince Pericard.
Now released by Pompey, after he had been at Plymouth on loan for much of the season, he has stated that he would not mind signing permanently for the Argyle, but only if manager Tony Pulis remains at the club.
If Luton's reported interest is genuine it would seem that they will have to make a move swiftly, as today, Plymouth refused permission for Stoke City to speak to Pulis regarding the vacant manager's position in the Potteries.

Vince will do a good job for you if he stays injury free. A tal well built feller who can hold the ball up as a target man and doesn't get knocked off the ball easily. Knows where the goal is too.
