Luton: Keane signs new contract

Luton Town have announced that Keith Keane has signed a new two year contract with the club.

The club are delighted that he has committed himself to the team and with Heslop having signed for Oxford today, this will be a great relief for manager Richard Money.

Keith is our longest serving player and if he remains for the duration of this contract will have been at the club for 10 years.

e debuted at the age of 16 and has become much loved by the fans for his 100% attitude and dedication to the club.

In my book this qualifies him to enter the ranks of the Luton Legends!

Money can now get busy finishing the rebuild secure in the knowledge that one of the central midfield slots is taken care of.

Keith told the club's official website:

'Everyone knows how much I love playing for Luton and I am very happy to have agreed a deal to extend that in plenty of time to concentrate on next season.

'I am here to play my part in getting the club back into the League again and hopefully we can do that next season.'

Richard Money commented:

'Keith was impressed with the calibre of the other signings we have made already during the close season.'
