Luton sign Murray
Luton Town has announced their fifth signing of the summer with the addition of 28 yr old Oxford United Captain Adam Murray. He joins on a two year contract.
Murray began his career at Derby County before having a loan spell at Kidderminster. After joining Notts County Adam rejoined Kidderminster and Mansfield.
In 2005 he played a big role in Carlisle's return to the Football League, then moved on to Torquay United in 2006. However in the January transfer window he joined Macclesfield.
His next move was to Oxford United where he became captain and was a fans' favourite.
Adam negotiated his own release from promoted Oxford after he had spent the last few months of the season out with a back injury which required surgery. Strangely Oxford's almost unbeatable form took a dive at around the same time.
Richard Money is reported to have moved swiftly once his availability was known.
Adam could be a very influential part of the Hatters'big push for promotion this season.
Adam will travel with the squad to Portugal on Wednesday.
