Luton Midfielder shock - Bantam eyed
According to the Luton News, Paul Underwood is struggling to get fit for the start of the season.
While recovering from a broken arm at the end of last season, the club felt it was an ideal opportunity to get an old knee problem sorted out and he underwent an arthroscopy. Infection set in and Unders became very ill, reportedly losing a fifth of his body weight.
He is now on the mend, but is unlikely to be fit for the start of the season.
Luton have Lewis Emmanuel of Bradford City training with them as a possible cover for the left back / left midfield role.
