Luton in for Kyle?

Luton are said to be chasing Sunderland striker Kevin Kyle, according to Clubcall.

Newell is said to want to pair Kyle with Adam Boyd in a new striking partnership.

However, Kyle has been a perennial sicknote over the last two seasons playing only 21 games due to injury, and is said to have recovered from a serious hip injury.

Coventry City are also interested in the 25-yr-old who has one year remaining on his contract with the black Cats.

I really think we don't need another sicknote player in this club..

I am sure they would get a rigorous medical on him if they were paying decent money for him.

Could be a dodgy one if you ask me , some players injuries do seem to take longer to heal if their team is not playing well and getting beat every week as Sunderland were last season , what would seem like a slight niggle then takes an age to heal !

Now he's a Steven Howard replacement, Boyd would play well alongside him.

I was looking forward to seeing Boyd and Vine playing together, and Luton playing less long ball to howard, and more along the floor, will be interesting though. What does this mean for getting a striker in on loan as well?

IF THATS HIM ABOVE ,HE'S NO OIL PAINTING IS HE!! ,SHOULD SCARE QUITE A FEW CENTRE HALFS IN THE CCC THOUGH.........

AND A LOT OF CHILDREN !!!!!!!!!!!!

He definately isn't from the Danny Stevens school of subtleness.....still, he'll be easy to spot on the pitch! In the many games of PES I have played, Kevin Kyle always used to score against me and my mate with bullet headers, maybe thats an omen he's going to be a new improved Steve Howard!

We don't need him. Feeney is finally scoring a few goals - albeit against part-timers, but his confidence must be getting better. We need to look for a solid defender first.

I'd have to agree, would rather get a season long loan striker (maybe with an option to buy), and then get a defender in with the money.

Kyle would be a decent addition but not if the £800k that some people are speculating as his price is correct!

HE,S EVIL LOOKING GRANTED, BUT WHAT WE NEED IS AN EQUALLY UGLY DEFENDER. ONE WHO LIKES TO PUT HIS HEAD WHERE PEOPLES STUDS ARE AND PREFERS STITCHES AT HALF TIME INSTEAD OF AN ORANGE AND A CUP OF TEA !! LETS FACE IT WHEN WE TURN IT ON CLUBS CRAP EM SELVES AGAINST US AS IT IS.
