Luton in for Leacock?
According to Clubcall, Luton are believed to be chasing Fulham defender Dean Leacock.
The 22-year-old defender would eb a typical Newell signing as he is comfortable as either a full back or a central defender.
A move to Swansea for a fee believed to have been £375K fell through recently and the player is back with Fulham.
However, Fulham boss Chris Coleman is believed to want to move the player on and Luton are reported as having bid £300K for him.
Luton may have to match the price Swansea were prepared to pay as QPR are also interested, after they acquired Zesh Rehman from the cottagers recently.

Derby are spending some dosh this season but I'll be surprised if it does them any good. They had a poor squad last year and it will probably take them another uear to clear out the deadwood and make a challenge.
