Luton boss still in market
Mike Newell has admitted that he is still looking for players before the transfer window closes.
Most important on his list is another central defender which, while he would have liked to sign one to strengthen the side, has become essential after Chris Coyne broke down after the Bristol Rovers match.
With Russ Perrett injured and now Coyne finding that his double operation appears only to have been half successful, Newell was quoted as saying that you cannot go into games with only two fit central defenders.
Coyne will undergo a scan this week to try to identify the remaining problem.
