Ainge Signs On!
Having spent a spell on loan Luton Town made the acquisition of Simon Ainge permanent.
Ainge, who made fifteen appearances on loan, joined Luton from the Blue Square Bet North side AFC Guiseley for an undisclosed fee.
But, joining Luton is a step up and Paul Buckle has warned Ainge that he`ll need to up his game to succeed at Kenilworth Road, remarking,
"I`m delighted with all the lads I`ve brought in. Some of the boys found it hard to find their feet and Simon by his own admission might say the same.'
"It`s a step up for him and he`s got to keep working hard at his game. He`s not the finished article like a lot of the boys we`ve brought in."
At twenty-four years of age, Ainge does have some time on his side but you get the impression that, in this instance, time might just wait for no man.
