Getting drawn at home to Millwall has deprived the Luton Town faithful of another splendid away day, in the vein of the trip to Carrow Road.
It`s widely accepted that we have the best travelling support, in the Conference, with clubs reliant on our support boosting their coffers.
On Saturday, 4,000 supporters took advantage of the £10 tickets and cheered the Hatters on. But you get the impression that 4,000 would have travelled to Carrow Road whatever the ticket prices.
Therefore, it would have been nice to draw either Manchester United or Manchester City away (although the Etched Stadium doesn`t hold the best of memories for us), jus to see circa 8,000 Hatters on the road.
But it wasn`t to be and instead we`re left to raise the roof at Kenilworth Road as we try to beat Millwall and make the FA Cup quarter-finals.
But, we should point out, the Hatters players are appreciative of your support with your man-of-the-match, Mark Tyler commenting after the triumph,
"I think if we had the whole stand we would fill it straight away. Our fans are brilliant, they will snap up tickets left, right and centre, whatever money, because they follow us throughout the country."
Of course we do, it`s an addiction!
