In hindsight, I suppose it wasn`t a bad thing to do was it?
Although we grumbled about Norwich pricing the tickets for the cup clash at £10 adults and £1 for children, it meant that Norwich City didn`t suffer the fate of some Premier League clubs.
Watching the other games, it became obvious that some grounds had rows upon rows of empty seats whereas Norwich City`s Carrow Road ground was packed to the rafters, thereby generating a unique atmosphere.
We could debate the financial implications of the ticket pricing all day, but perhaps another angle to approach it from would be to consider whether Luton would have pulled off such a shock in a half empty ground devoid of that marvelous atmosphere generated by both sets of supporters, or as Mark Tyler put it,
"Maybe they (prices) were a bit too low, but that`s great on Norwich`s part, because we had a full house, so it`s kind of a win-win situation."
Indeed it was and an occasion we`ll savour, remember for the rest of our lives!
