Not in the Public Arena Paul!

Not in the Public Arena Paul!

Okay, the lad made a horrendous mistake but surely the place for castigating the lad is in the dressing room and not in the public arena!

Greg Taylor probably felt as bad as anyone when he made the error and then had to live with the consequences but to see the following comments published this morning, surely won`t have helped with Buckle remarking about the error,

"It was a carbon copy of our season in terms of individual error."

"Taylor`s mistake was dreadful and we`re a goal behind."

"I`ve given Greg Taylor a chance. I wasn`t happy with his defending earlier in the season. I let him out on loan, brought him back in and you saw with that, we can`t afford for any weakness in our back four because the ball`s been ending up in the back of our net."

"That was poor. It should have been cleared, headed away, we can`t deal with it, and we`re 1-0 down."

"The goal was so poor and pathetic, that`s angered me more than anything."

"It`s individual error and slowly and surely I`ve got to keep changing it until we get it right."

Perhaps a private word in his ear might have sufficed Paul rather than a public flogging!
