From Hero to Zero!
If anyone doubted that football can be a funny old game, as Jimmy Greaves used to quote on the popular Saint and Greavsie show, then this weekend proved that old adage.
Whilst Luton were tumbling to defeat against Barrow a week after beating Premier League Norwich City in the FA Cup, a former Hatters player was also suffering emotions at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Last weekend Paul Dickov was celebrating after his Oldham managed side dumped Liverpool out of the FA Cup.
A week later Dickov is unemployed having resigned following Oldham`s 3-1 loss to Walsall, their eighth defeat in nine league games.
The harsh realities of the game I`m afraid!
