Last week we pointed out that we thought Greg Taylor had been harshly treated.
Okay, we accepted the goal was his fault against Barrow ad cost us dearly, but we weren`t too comfortable with the manner in which Paul Buckle decided to berate him in the public domain.
There were fears that the mistake could have seen Taylor ostracised and his Luton future put in doubt however the local press are reporting that Buckle held clear the air talks with Taylor and that the defender does have a future with the club.
Furthermore, the local free paper intimates that Buckle, on the back of helping to keep clean sheets against Wolves and Norwich in the FA Cup, is more suited to life as a Championship player than life in the Conference.
To that effect, it`s being suggested that Taylor could well return to the first team this Saturday when Millwall return to Kenilworth Road for that FA Cup 5th round tie.
But as for that Championship comment, are we to take it that Taylor will be parked until we climb out of the Conference and march on through League Two and then League One?
