Watkins Joins Eastleigh
Although the transfer window slammed shut on 31st January at 23:00 hours, the loan market is still very much active.
Today, the Hatters announced that Adam Watkins has left Luton, on loan, to join Eastleigh, in the Blue Square Bet South.
Watkins has played just nine appearances for Luton this season and this loan spell follows a previous one, this season, at Kidderminster.
Speaking about the loan, Paul Buckle remarked to the local media,
"Adam Watkins will go out on loan, we`re hopeful he`s going to Eastleigh.
"Alex has done well there and they took (Dean) Beckwith on a permanent, so Adam goes from now to the end of the season.
"All the players that I don`t see figuring now are out which I think is healthy for the club."
It remains to be seen if the midfielder can come back to Luton and carve out a long career here.
