As the titanic FA Cup battle draws nearer, Gary Sweet has moved to try and allay fears that we could witness something similar to what happened in 1985.
Sweet, who has held talks with Millwall about managing the cup-tie, has commented,
"It was pay cash at the gate."
"And what happened that day was people piled through the turnstiles without paying."
"It`s completely different now. All the 1500 tickets that went to Millwall were sold within the hour, purely because they`ve got four times that number in season ticket holders."
"So they know exactly the names of the people coming. They go to every Millwall game trouble-free."
I hope you`re right Gary, I hope you`re right!
