Can Things Get Any Worse?

Can Things Get Any Worse?

Well yes!

Waking up this morning with a mild hangover, after drowning my sorrows last following our FA Cup exit at the hands of Millwall, I looked at the Sunday press and grimaced.

Whilst we`re contemplating a push for promotion back to the Football League, a push that will require an enormous helping of luck, commitment and endeavour, I was dumbstruck when I looked at the Championship table.

Bemoaning our own plight, it looks as if our hated neighbours Watford are flying high. Under the managerial tutorship of Gianfranco Zola, Watford are third in the table and have a realistic chance of pushing for an automatic promotion place, a feat that would see them return to the Premier League.

I`m off back to bed, I told you things could get worse.
