Finishing With a Flourish

Finishing With a Flourish

And so the season has ended!

After a plethora of fixtures, we can now put our feet up and sit back and watch how the comings and goings, at Kenilworth Road, take place this summer.

In concluding, John Still in his post-match interview given to the media after the 3-1 victory up at Southport, summed matters up perfectly when he commented about the game,

"We were efficient, but I thought we looked like two tired teams, two teams that knew the season was over.

"The good points are we responded well from being a goal down, we shouldn`t have gone a goal down and probably could have got a few more goals.

"To come away from home after a difficult run, there`ll be games next year where you`ve got to say to yourself, it`s about winning.

"Winnings a habit. Did we play great? No, but we played quite well recently."

Indeed we did and things do look promising for next season, if we bring a couple of good-uns in!
