Hatters Scoop Prestigious Award

It`s not easy being the David you know and slaying a Goliath.

Therefore, we`re bordering on being ecstatic on scooping the Ronnie Radford award presented to the team that produces the greatest FA Cup shock of the season.

Radford, as you may recall, scored that wonderful goal that knocked Newcastle United out, in the days of black and white television, when non-league Hereford United stunned the football world.

The award comes courtesy of an on-line poll in which Luton received a huge 60% of the votes for that famous win up at Carrow Road, in the 4th round, when a goal from Scott Rendell was enough to knock Norwich City out.

Representatives from Luton will beat Wembley, for the forthcoming FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Wigan, to collect the award.
