Disappointed or Expected?

Disappointed or Expected?

It seems that not even making FA Cup history could result in a place in the Conference XI for last season.

Okay, perhaps on reflection FA Cup games might not have counted but to not have a single representative does hurt a little.

Those who select such things obviously didn`t visit Kenilworth Road very often, or perhaps then again they did.

However, to wrap up this article, perhaps I`d be better shutting up and just publishing the eleven selected as representative of the best Conference XI for the season 2012/2013:-

XI: James McKeown (Grimsby), Lee Vaughan, Joshua Gowling (Kidderminster), David Pipe (Newport County), Aswad Thomas (Grimsby), Jay Harris (Wrexham), Dean Keates (Wrexham), Craig Disley (Grimsby), Christian Jolley (Newport County), Anthony Malbon (Kidderminster), Matt Green (Mansfield Town).

Has anyone got any thoughts on this matter?
