Spiller`s Future?

Spiller`s Future?

It`s something we`ve questioned before, namely the legitimacy of keeping Danny Spiller on the books.

Signed from Gillingham last summer, the player, courtesy of an on-going injury, has yet to make a competitive start for Luton Town Football Club.

In order to rectify his ailment the medical team at Kenilworth Road have sanctioned rest, electric shock therapy and also an operation, but still there has been no real reward from the player for the Hatters acquiring his services.

Spiller, in his determination to get back, has tried to do s on two occasions, in development matches, but with no success.

Therefore we are led to believe that once John Still returns from his holiday in Cyprus, an agreement will be reached whereby his contract is ended by mutual consent.

A sad conclusion to a move but considering the circumstances perhaps an inevitable one!
