Another Chance for Richards

Although it was a far from successful first season, at Kenilworth Road, for Garry Richards, you get the impression that Luton Town do intend to persevere with the former Gillingham defender.

The players returned to pre-season training, on Monday, with Richards being one of two absentees through injury (the other being Alex Lawless who we believe should be ready to start again next week).

Talking about a proposed return, the gaffer John Still is quoted, in the local media, as having remarked,

"Garry`s not back in training as such, but we will be assessing that a little bit later this week."

"He had a really nasty injury and you can`t rush that."

It`d be great if Garry was to make a complete recovery from the injury as he`d give Still another option in defence as well as adding experience to the squad.
