Hatters Injury Update

Hatters Injury Update

As we head towards our opening Conference fixture, against Southport (a), John Still will be hoping that he has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Yesterday, those who attended the friendly against Dagenham and Redbridge, Still`s old club, would have been a little bit worried when Mark Cullen, minutes after scoring, exited the action.

However, it appears his substitution was nothing more than a precaution with Still quoted as having remarked after the 3-1 victory,

"He just hurt his ankle and there was a little bit of a twist as well."

"I don`t think it`s anything terrible, but there was no need for him to stay on."

However, although Luton have played several pre-season friendly fixtures, two of our players, in Alex Lawless and Danny Fitzsimons, have yet to play at all.

Lawless` absence is a worry and hopefully the fans favourite can get back into the fray as soon as possible.

Overall though, Still is pleased with the squad`s shape, further remarking,

"I think we`re in decent shape at the moment and by the time the season starts, Alex will be training and not far off playing hopefully."

The new season, bring it on!
