After our fine win over Premier League opposition, in Aston Villa, the Hatters continued their recent fine home form with a win over League Two opposition, in Dagenham and Redbridge.
Luton thumped John Still`s previous employers 3-0 with Mark Cullen opening the scoring in the first half, before being withdrawn with an ankle knock, and goals from Alex Lacey and Sean Whalley wrapping matters up in the second half.
However, Still had a few reservations about the performance remarking to the local media afterwards,
"It was a strange game. I thought Dagenham had good possession in the first half and I don`t know whether Tuesday slowed us up a little bit."
"It took us a little bit of time to get going but in that period we knew how to defend, knew how to be narrow, that side of our game was very good."
"First half, our attacking side wasn`t particularly good, second half, I thought we had the full package."
"I thought we played very, very well and we won pretty comfortably."
"But like I said on Tuesday, it`s a pre-season game and I don`t think Dagenham will be too disappointed and I`m not too elated."
The gaffer appears to be a hard man to please!
