Looking Forward to Tuesday

Looking Forward to Tuesday

With the weather wreaking havoc with the Skrill Premier fixture list this weekend little changed at the top of the table.

Luton`s fixture, like so many others was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and now all eyes are cast towards Tuesday night when both Luton Town and Cambridge United are back in action.

Luton have an away fixture against Macclesfield whilst Cambridge entertains Alfreton Town.

Looking at the two, Luton probably have the slightly easier fixture Macclesfield are sat in mid-table and having played 15 home games they`ve won 9, drawn 3 and lost 3.

Cambridge, in entertaining Alfreton, will be taking on a side who are currently 3rd in the table and side who have play-off aspirations. Currently four points behind Cambridge, Alfreton will know a win at the Abbey Stadium will close the gap on their hosts. However, it should be pointed out that Alfreton have played three games more than Cambridge.

Could Tuesday night be a defining night in that chase for the one automatic promotion place available?

We`ll just have to wait and see won`t we!
