One Smart Move

One Smart Move

Okay, who hasn`t looked at what`s been going on at Cardiff and Hull and wondered just what the hell was going on?

Down in South Wales the new owner has changed the traditional kit colour from blue to red whilst up on Humberside the owner is insistent on changing the name of the club from its traditional Hull City to Hull City Tigers, much to the annoyance of the supporters who have followed their clubs for years.

The common denominator being that both clubs have been acquired by 'foreign owners` has left fans of other clubs fearing that something similar could happen to their club. Well it doesn`t seem that will be the case at Kenilworth Road with it being announced, that the club have taken steps to safeguard its traditional values in a unique way.

It appears that there has been interest in our club and whilst those who continue to do a wonderful job of running the club they are aware a cash investment, albeit from overseas, would be most welcome. But, returning to the safeguarding of our interests, the club has decreed that the Luton Trust will have full control of the clubs image rights thereby avoiding the shenanigans going on at Cardiff and Hull.

What a damn smart move!
