Clean Sheet Please!

Clean Sheet Please!

Today, nothing will give me greater pleasure than to tune in, after the game, and hear the radio commentator read out the result, a result starting with Hyde 0……………

Because if that is the case it`ll mean that Luton Town will have kept the clean sheet that will set a new club record.

Okay, I`ll accept that it`s great to score 100+ goals and, hopefully, get through the 100 point barrier but this game of ours is not all about goals is it.

A balance has to be struck whereby you prevent the opposition from scoring and, as a defender, nothing is better than keeping a clean sheet.

So, keep those fingers crossed that there are no defensive lapses this afternoon and that Luton set another club record in what has been a fantastic season.
