Wanted or Not Wanted?

Wanted or Not Wanted?

A question to mull over as John Still gives two of the squad an option.

It would seem that neither David Martin or Solomon Taiwo are in Still`s plans for next season but that he is also prepared to give both the chance to try and prove him wrong.

Talking about Martin the boss had this to say to the local media,

"If Dave`s disappointed and wants to play regularly, I think he might have to look at other options."

"He`s still got a year with us, who knows what happens? I just want him to feel that I`ve given him another option to do something else."

And with regards to Taiwo,

"With Solly, I said you`ve got a year left, you can stay and work your way to get in, but I don`t want you banging on my door saying why aren`t I getting a chance?"

"I`m going to give you the option, it`s up to you, you haven`t got to go."

With both players still having a year left on their contracts, it`ll be interesting to see if either are still with Luton come the big kick-off in League two.
