Only Portsmouth Would Have Beaten Us!

Only Portsmouth Would Have Beaten Us!

At times, last season, it seemed as if we were in the wrong division.

The attendances we were getting belied the fact we were playing conference football and, on the road, Hatters supporters often out-numbered the home support with many Conference clubs pleased as punch that the money paid over the gate boosted their coffers.

Well it seems that as we move onwards and upwards, into League Two, our attendances will continue to stand us in good stead and that, supporter-wise, we will not be found wanting.

Our average home attendance, of last season, a magnificent 7,387 would have been the second highest home attendance in the division, only being beaten by the fallen giant Portsmouth FC.

Take a bow the good supporters of Luton Town Football Club.
