Hatters to Present a United Front

Hatters to Present a United Front

With just ten League Two games to play, there really is still everything to fight for as far as Luton Town are concerned.

Although our recent haul of just one point from the last six available is a set-back we could well have done without, now is not the time to doubt our credentials as a promotion achieving side.

Last night, up at Carlisle, Alan Sheehan captained the Hatters on what was his fiftieth appearance for the club.

Sheehan, liked others, picked up the negative vibes coming from the Kenilworth Road patrons, following the disappointing defeat at the hands of our local rivals Stevenage, prompting the centre-back to remark,

"Obviously they`re frustrated, they let us know half time and full time, but I suppose they expect, they probably see this squad of players and think you should be battering them.

"And then you nit-pick at everything, everybody nit-picks, why isn`t this happening? Why isn`t he playing?

"I think we`ve just got to all stick together. There`s 10 games left, it`s a great dressing room in there, nobody works harder than the manager and we`re all behind him,

"So we`re looking forward to the run-in, we really are. There`s pressure but we`re looking forward to it, let`s just put it like that, we`re not afraid of anyone."

Unity is the buzz word from now on then.
