Hatters Centre-Backs - Same Again Please Lads
Exeter City are the visitors to Kenilworth Road this Saturday with the Hatters looking to get back to winning ways after the loss to Stevenage and the draw against Carlisle.
However, it seems that Nathan Jones hands may be forced when it comes to selecting his central defensive partnership.
With Scott Cuthbert and Johnny Mullins both unavailable, with Mullins having a hamstring injury and Mullins not having recovered fully from a knock to his knee, Nathan Jones will have to call on Glen Rea and Alan Sheehan to keep Exeter at bay.
But, Jones has every confidence in the duo, remarking to the local media ahead of the vital fixture with Exeter City,
'They are good friends who enjoy playing together, and they love that battle. They have been magnificent when they have played together, like against Oxford last year.
'They are a good pairing with a good balance - one left footed and one right footed, and both can play a bit too.
'Both also want to be aggressive and on the front foot, so we're blessed in that when we lose one centre half or two centre halves, we have some really good players to step in.'
A clean-sheet, the second on the bounce, would be greatly appreciated lads.
