Luton extend Bell contract
David Bell, who has recently come into the kind of form that Mike Newell believed he had in him, has signed a contract extension which will keep him at Luton until 2010.
It is reassuring to see the club at last taking the action to secure some of our better players.

I have contacts at Rushden and Diamonds and they were adamant that he was a steal at £100k. They believed he'd go all the way to the premiership. However, until the recent dive in form and injury crisis, he had to bide his time waiting for his chance. I reckon he must be one of the first names on the sheet currently, although perhaps Spring's signing might halt his progress a little.
