Jones Talks Promotion Race

Jones Talks Promotion Race

The dream of automatic promotion, to League One, is now over.

With three games to go Luton Town are looking to secure a play-off place and crash their way into League One via a win in the play-off final, at Wembley.

It is a hard task and when it comes to play-off fixtures Luton haven`t exactly had the smoothest of rides.

But we can but dream of it being our day at Wembley and ending the season in the most dramatic of ways.

However, we should offer our congratulations to Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle who, on Easter Monday, secured the other two automatic promotion places alongside Doncaster Rovers who had earned promotion earlier.

Talking about the promotion race the Luton Town boss, Nathan Jones, had this to say to the media following the Hatters 1-1 draw at Mansfield,

"Congratulations to Portsmouth and Plymouth.

"We are a year behind them but hopefully we can get through the play-offs."

Let`s hope so!
