It`s Not All Over for Hatter Gray
When Jake Gray arrived at Kenilworth Road, after joining Luton Town from Crystal Palace, it was thought that the Hatters had pulled off a coup getting someone so talented.
Sadly, Gray hasn`t developed as it was thought he would do at Luton and the midfielder was one of several players told they were free to leave Luton Town Football Club.
But, this apparent rejection doesn`t have to be the end of the road for Gray and the player will be looking to emulate other young players who have emerged from the Football League doldrums to become stars.
Talking to the media about players who have emerged from the Football League to become top-flight players, Jake has spoken about Delli Ali.
Talking about the Spurs and England man, Delli Ali, Jake has remarked,
'In terms of who I have looked up to in the game, I always looked up to James McArthur when I was at Palace.
'But I'm a Spurs fan, so I really admire Dele Ali, and he shows all lower league players what you can achieve if you really apply yourself.'
So, although Gray may be bidding farewell to Luton Town don`t, for a moment, believe that he`s given up hope of being a success.
Perhaps Luton Town was a shoe that, in Gray`s case, just didn`t fit.
