Hatters Keeper Walks Away from Professional Football
Nobody saw that coming did they?
I`ve just climbed out of the shower, sat down, turned on the internet and found that the young Luton Town goalkeeper, Craig King, has decided to turn his back on the professional game.
King, who came through the ranks at Kenilworth, has made four appearances for the Hatters but has called it quits after admitting to suffering from depression.
In bidding farewell Craig thanked the club physio Simon Parsell and the club doctor Paul Deeley, for their support.
The club have issued a statement that reads,
'All at the club would like to wish Craig every success in both his football career and life away from the professional game, and look forward to seeing him back at Kenilworth Road where he'll always be a welcome guest.'
Craig is hoping that he can return to the game at a lower level and here at Vital Luton Town we`d like to wish him all the best and admit we admire his honesty for deciding to walk away from the game rather than struggle on.
