Hatters Boss Praises Midfielder
Last night, the Hatters ended their recent run of poor form that had seen them draw away to Lincoln and lose at Kenilworth Road against Swindon Town, on Saturday.
The Hatters turned on the style to score their first goals in three games to take the three points that were on offer against bottom-of-the-table Port Vale.
After the game, speaking to the local media, Nathan Jones praised the contribution his summer signing from Brentford made, Alan McCormack.
The midfielder, now 33-years-of-age has excelled for the Hatters this season, playing in all seven league games, after overcoming the injury problems that dogged him whilst he was with Brentford, causing Jones to remark,
'We've got to make sure we get games out of him because he's excellent in that role.
'That's why we brought him here, he gives us that experience, that calmness and that quality and when he presses, he presses properly, he wins the ball and he can also play.'
McCormack might not have many years left in the game but there`s certainly no reason why he cannot become a Hatters cult hero during his time with the Hatters.
