The Hatters had to settle for a draw at the Checkatrade.com Stadium but a point is enough to keep them on top of the League Two table.

Arriving at the wonderfully (not really) named Checkatrade.com Stadium, Luton had been very prolific in front of goal, knocking seven past Stevenage and another four past Exeter, but the expected goal glut against Crawley didn`t materialise.

The draw saw Luton Town`s run of four successive wins come to an end although thirteen points out of a possible fifteen available is promotion form.

To be fair Crawley probably edged the first half with Marek Stech being forced into making fine saves from Jimmy Smith, and Jordan Roberts.

Luton saw chances fall to Harry Cornick and Luke Berry but couldn`t beat Glenn Morris in the Crawley goal.

Dan Potts, looking to get on the score-sheet again, headed wide when well placed.

The second forty-five minutes saw James Collins, facing his old side, shoot across the face of the goals before Morris was, once again, called into action to make a fine save from Glen Rea.

Crawley almost snatched the points late on when Stech was forced to make a good-save from a close-range shot from Roberts.

Next up for the Hatters is a home fixture against Coventry City, next Saturday.
