Sunderland Eyeing up Nathan Jones
The problem with being an up and coming manager is that your achievements and potential get noticed by, for lack of a better word, the bigger-clubs.
Nathan Jones has done a pretty decent job since joining Luton Town Football Club, overhauling the playing staff and making the Hatters genuine contenders for promotion to League One come May 2018.
Last season there was speculation doing the rounds that intimated Nathan Jones was being eyed up by other clubs, but Jones dismissed the idea out of hands implying he had a job to finish at Kenilworth Road.
Today, something popped up on the BBC Newsfeed that suggested that the Championship side, Sunderland, have eyes on Jones to fill the void left by the sacking of Simon Grayson.
Here at Vital Luton Town we`d be hugely surprised if Jones was tempted by a move to Sunderland, the club is in free-fall and having lost their Premier League status last May could well lose their Championship status this season with the Wearsiders currently bottom of the table.
But then again, some are tempted by the biggest of challenges, let`s hope it`s not our Nathan!
