Luton Trial T & T stars

Luton Town are giving trials to Trinidad & Tobago internationals Anthony Wolfe and Aurtis Whitley.

Wolfe is a striker while Whitley, who was linked to Luton Town during the World Cup, is a midfielder who can also score goals.

Wolfe, was offered a contract with American A-League club Atlanta Silverbacks, but fancies his chances in English football.

Wolfe told TTFF Media.

'I'm off this time to Luton for a week. My main hope is to secure a deal for next season.

'Things at Atlanta went good but the contract they offered me wasn't what I was hoping for so I returned home.'

Meanwhile, Whitley recently failed to win a contract with Vietnamese club Hoang Anh Gia Lai and is hoping for better luck with Luton.

Kevin Blackwell is assessing the current players with a view to clearing out those whom he does not expect to feature in his future plans and has already begun to look at possibilities for strengthening the squad.

Both triallists have received good reviews from their International appearances, and they could possibly do a very good job in League 1.
