Luton: Press Conference this week
Trust in Luton have been informed by LTFC Chief Executive John Mitchell that David Pinkney's takeover of the club is 'imminent'.
The previous news was that it was expected to be completed by Monday 4 June. It is understood that Mitchell and Pinkney have been attending a Football League seminar in Portugal this week.
Mitchell also stated that the club will be holding a press conference on Thursday 14 June, which is the same day as the Football League release the 2007/08 fixtures.
It is a pity that they did not perceive the urgency of providing Kevin Blackwell with a budget so that he could begin rebuilding sooner.
Many signings have already been made by other clubs, including at least one player, James Hayter, in whom Blackwell had expressed an interest, who is now a Doncaster player.
