Luton Away to Daggers
Luton have been drawn against Dagenham and Redbridge in the Carling Cup 1st Round, to be played at their Victoria Road Ground on week commencing 13 August 2007.
Ironically, Luton have scheduled a friendly at the same ground against the same team on July 25th.
Manager Kevin Blackwell told the Luton Town official website:
'I want to win every game and we'll be going there with a positive attitude, that's for sure.
'The game will be played the second week into the season, and we'll still be getting players up to speed with match practice so we'll be fielding a strong team.
'Every game is important. I'll be putting a new team together and I'll be looking to find out as much as I can as fast as I can and maybe this is an ideal test for us, a real stiff one.'
Meanwhile, Blackwell awaits tomorrow's alleged Press Conference, hoping that ownership will be sorted out and that he can find out what his budget will be, if he is to 'put a new team together' as he stated in his interview reported above.
