Luton in hunt for Edwards?
Luton Town are reported by the Shropshire Star newsgroup as one of the front-runners to sign Shrewsbury Town midfielder Dave Edwards.
The 21-year-old has rejected his home town club's offer of a new contract and elected to move on.
Shrews manager Gary Peters is reported as confirming that he has received contact about the player, from Sam Ellis, who joined Kevin Blackwell's management team prior to the Burnley away match last season.
Currently it is rumoured that Luton are ready to sell Steve Robinson and Edwards would be a ready made replacement for him.
