Luton sign Peschisolido?
Luton Today have reported that they believe Paul Peschisolido has signed for Luton along with Paul Furlong, but the club have only announced the Furlong signing.
The paper believe that he signed on Tuesday but the delay in announcing it may relate to terms of his release by Derby County. I feel two such experienced players could only have a beneficial effect on rookie strikers Calvin Andrew and Drew Talbot, and perhaps the rest of the team when it comes to playing the game tactically.
All too often last season Luton conceded unnecessary goals and even after coming from behind to lead, could not hold on to the advantage.
While some fans believe that players of this age are 'past it' their experience is invaluable and the new sports scientist will no doubt assist them to take very good care of themselves. It is quite possible that neither will complete too many 90 minute stints, but both know where the net is and Furlong knows how to bully defences and they should both be very useful at this level.

Furlong must be close to 40 by now, and Peschisolido's biggest achievement in the game is marrying Karren Brady.

They'll still do a job in Division 3!
Sheringham's 41 and was playing in the Prem last year and has only dropped to the CCC. It's how fit they are and what goes on in their heads when they are playing that counts.

chill out mate. Last season we had too many youngsters and not enough experience and now after signing 3 30+ year olds your saying we're a retirement home. KB has signed talented youngsters and experienced pros and i think the balance is just right
