Transfer hopes
Mike Newell stated in his pre-match Press conference that he is still hopeful of bringing in new players before the transfer deadline.
He said that he has ‘reasonable’ offers on the table for a number of players, but that some clubs are asking for more money. He also did not rule out the possibility of loan signings as he pointed out that he has not used many loan opportunities this season.
