'Mini' scored some important goals in his time, netting 21 league and 5 cup goals.
He never scored twice in a game.
He scored in separate games against Portsmouth (2), Oxford (2), West Brom (2); other than that he spread them around in 1s, including 1 at Old Trafford V Man U, and 1 of the famous 7 past Shilton, v Southampton.
He scored 16 at home and 10 away.
Luton lost only 1 league game and only 1 cup game when Preece had scored. Winning 18, drawing 6 (2 h and 4 a).
He played in both Littlewoods cup finals. In the winning final he only played in the first round and the final, coming back from injury to take his place at Wembley.
