Luton in talks with centre back
Kevin Blackwell has stated that he is in talks with an unnamed centre back.
In his post match interview of the Oxford friendly he said to Lutontown.co.uk:
'Perry and Coyne had to play against Oxford, but I am addressing that situation at the moment.
'Hopefully I will have somebody signed by the end of the week. I am currently in talks with someone.'
He also alluded to a goalkeeper coming in:
'We are also looking at a goalkeeper, but that might be something we look at as a last thing. Brill has done well in pre-season and he looked good again against Oxford.'

I understand you have bought in quite a few experienced players(slightly on the old side some) how do you think you will do this season?

Top 6 maybe automatic promotion. Although a lot are complaining that these players are too old and that there are too many of them, they all have an excellent pedigree and for League 1 they should be too good for most of the teams. Perry is quality as is Peschisolido, would have been pleased to sign them for the Championship. Currie, Furlong and Hutchison may be past the Championship but used in short bursts they will add some skill for this division. The two younger lads, Goodall and Edwards are also good prospects and will fare well in this division. Altogether very optimistic.
