Luton: Two more in?
Kevin Blackwell spoke yesterday of his disappointment at losing Kevin Foley, butaccepts that it was good business for the club.
As soon as he was aware of the likelihood that Foley would leave he brought in Richard Jackson as cover. Jackson showed on Saturday that he fills the vacancy very well indeed.
Blackwell was speaking to an experienced centre half yesterday and was hopeful that he could peruade the player to join. If successful the signing will be announced today.
Meanwhile, the Town boss is meeting with a goalkeeper 'from the higher divisions' today, and is again hopeful that he can persuade him to come to the club, although Blackwell admits that there is interest from other clubs in the higher divisions for the keeper's services.
