Luton target Johnson
Luton are reportedly close to signing experienced Derby County defender Michael Johnson.
The 34-year-old is believed to be the central defender that Kevin Blackwell has been talking to over the last few days.
Johnson was the club captain at Derby last season and is deemed surplus to requirements at Pride Park.
Johnson is a former Jamaican International has been a regular starter for Derby since his transfer from Birmingham City in 2003, following one season in the Premiership with the St Andrews club.
Kevin Blackwell hopes to complete the signing today.
