Cut price signing ?
According to Fansfc.com, Mike Newell is poised to complete the cut-price signing of 25 yr old Derby midfielder Adam Bolder for £40000.
Derby look set to cash in on the player, who is out of contract in the summer, despite recently stating that he would be happy to sign a new contract.
Bolder is 5'9' tall and 10st 8lbs and has been in and out of the team this season, making 12 league appearances up to December 21st (7 as substitute,) scoring 1 goal and receiving 2 yellow cards. Last season, he made 25 league appearances (13 as substitute) scoring 2 goals.
The tough tackling midfielder joined the Rams in 2000 from Hull City, for £90000, but his opportunities were limited by the emergence of Tom Huddlestone and the signing of Ian Taylor.
